The Paramus United Competitive Program is for the committed youth soccer player looking for a high level soccer experience. The program provides both boy and girl athletes U9-U15 a challenging environment that fosters player development through professional training, competitive matches, and a developmental appropriate curriculum. In order to be part of the program, every player goes through an annual tryout beginning in the month of April for the following season. Players are selected to teams based on their appropriate skill and age level and in some instances, are dual rostered onto teams within their appropriate age groups to accommodate the growth of player development. Paramus United may have numerous teams in an age group to help further every player’s development. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for any child that is willing to be a part of this program. Our greatest gift is to give all soccer players the opportunities to develop their soccer skills to the fullest extent through soccer training, competitive matches, and physical development. It requires a commitment and some sacrifice from both the players and the parents along with our soccer curriculum to reach full potential.

Players in the competitive program are required to attend two soccer practices per week with our highly trained soccer coaches. In addition to team practices, Paramus United provides additional weekly technical skills, footwork, striker and goalkeeping training sessions along with speed and agility classes. Paramus United takes a holistic approach in developing our soccer players, we believe in growing a players technical, tactical, mental and physical abilities. A well-rounded player is a better soccer player both on the field and in life. We are the premiere program in Paramus and Bergen County New Jersey because we give our youth soccer players more developmental opportunities for a fraction of the cost versus other teams. Our proven curriculum renowned for developing excellence will prepare all players by teaching skillful possession and attacking soccer. Players are continuously challenged in practices and games so each player reaches the next level in their soccer experience.

Game day matches take place against appropriate age level and equally skilled teams in the Northern Counties Soccer Association. The NCSA provides a forum for quality youth soccer and offers premier level flights at every age group. It also provides many additional flights for children to hone their skills and to move their game to a higher level. Paramus United promotes the development of soccer excellence for all players by forming skill and age appropriate teams and competing inside the NCSA.
